The bee
A little bee in the corner of your AI chat.
It lives on ChatGPT and Claude, and nowhere else. Here is how it behaves.
Open it any time
Tap the bee to see the survey on offer, with its payout shown before you start. No need to wait for anything.
A nudge during long replies
When the AI has been working for a few seconds and you’re not typing, the bee flutters and offers a survey. Ignore it and it goes away when the reply lands.
Finish when it suits you
An open survey stays open after the reply arrives, and every answer is saved. Close it and pick it up again within 24 hours.
Yours to move or pause
Drag the bee anywhere on the page, pause offers from the bee, or switch Beewhile off in Chrome.

What you make
The payout is set before you start.
Every survey shows a dollar amount up front. It’s worked out the same way every time:
75%
of what the brand pays
$0.50
the minimum for any paid survey
$30/hr
for the survey’s estimated time
You get whichever is highestwhichever is highest
up to $15 a survey
On top of survey pay
$0.10
Not a match
The first question checks if a survey is for you. If it isn’t, you still get a thank-you.
$0.25–$5
Tips
Brands can tip a written answer they found useful. Every cent of a tip is yours.
$0.50
Profile bonus
Once, for filling in 80% of your profile with a confirmed email.
$1
Invite a friend
When someone you invite finishes 3 careful paid surveys.
Busy day? After 5 careful surveys in a day you get 10% extra on that day’s earnings, up to $1. Bonuses add up to at most $5 a month. Tips and bonuses above $20 in a week are checked by a person before they’re paid, never lost.
Trust levels
Careful answers move you up.
Everyone starts at New. As you answer carefully over time, you climb a level: more surveys a day, a shorter review hold and higher cash-out limits. It happens automatically.

What builds trust
- Finishing paid surveys carefully
- Time: every month without a strike counts
- Confirming your email
- Filling in your profile
What costs trust
- Missing a quality check
- Rushed or copy-pasted answers
- Answers that contradict your own profile
- A strike, which also holds you at Standard or below while it’s active
- More than one account, or sharing a payout account
Limits are counted in surveys and dollars, whichever you reach first. Your level and progress are shown on the bee.
Getting paid
From finished survey to your balance.
Money moves through four simple states. You can see each one on the bee.
- 1
Right away
Credited
The payout lands in your balance the moment you finish, marked pending. - 2
7 days → 1 day
Reviewed
A quality review hold: 7 days at New, down to 1 day at Pro. If the brand pays by invoice, it also waits for their payment. - 3
Never expires
Available
After the hold, the money is yours to cash out. It stays on your account as long as you like. - 4
From $10
Cashed out
Cash-out isn’t open yet. Everything you earn is kept and counts toward your first cash-out.
Nothing expires. What you earn stays on your account until cash-out opens.
Limits by level. New accounts can cash out up to $50 a week; Pro up to $500.
Big requests get a look. A cash-out far above your usual amount is checked by a person first.
Careful answers
Brands pay for real opinions.
That’s the whole deal, so every paid survey includes one quick check, and a few patterns get a second look.
- A hidden check. One question in each paid survey checks you’re reading. Miss it and that survey isn’t paid, but one miss isn’t a strike.
- A second look. Racing through, picking the same spot on every scale, or pasting or nonsense text can hold a survey’s pay for review by a person.
- One account each. One person, one browser, one payout account. Duplicates freeze payouts until we review them.
Strikes
2 missed checks among your last 20, or a duplicate account, gives a strike.
- 1
A warning1st strike
Paid surveys carry on. Your level is held at Standard or below while it’s active.
- 2
A 7-day pause2nd strike
No paid surveys for 7 days, then you’re back.
- 3
Removed from paid surveys3rd strike
Money that’s already available stays yours to cash out.
Strikes expire after 90 days. Think one is a mistake? Tell us and a person will look; if we agree, it’s removed and your trust comes back.
Privacy
It notices the wait. Never the words.
What it never reads
Your prompts and the AI’s replies. Never read, stored or sent.
What it reads
Only whether the AI is still working: the stop button and request timing.
What brands see
Brands never learn who you are: no name, email or account. Full privacy policy
Questions
Good questions to ask.
Why don’t I see a survey right now?
There may be no survey that matches your profile at the moment, you may have reached your level’s limit for the hour or day, or offers may be paused. Surveys come and go as brands launch them; the bee shows what’s available whenever you open it.
Why isn’t my payout exactly 75% of the price?
75% is the starting point. When 75% would come to less than $0.50, or less than $30 an hour for the survey’s estimated time, you get the higher amount instead, and the brand pays the difference. One survey pays at most $15.
Is hitting my hourly or daily limit bad?
No. Limits protect new accounts and the brands paying for answers, and they rise as your level does. The hourly limit is a rolling hour; the daily one resets at midnight UTC.
What happens if I fail a quality check?
That survey isn’t paid and doesn’t count for the brand. One miss isn’t a strike. 2 misses among your last 20 checks give you a strike.
Does my balance expire?
No. Earned money stays on your account until you cash it out.
Do brands know who I am?
No. Your answers reach the brand in groups of 5 or more, each under a random ID: never your name, email, account or when you answered. Brands never see your profile, only totals for groups of 5 or more people, and they agree never to try to identify or contact you.
Can I take a survey without waiting for the AI?
Yes. Tap the bee whenever you like. The nudge during a long reply is a reminder, not the only way in.
Make your downtime sweeter.
Free, and it never reads your chats.
